Ballot drop coming right up for Feb. 12, 2019 election!

Ballots will be mailed by January 23, 2019 to all qualified voters (approximately 18,000) living within Fire District 1, School District 50 and City of Port Townsend. Ballots for Military and Overseas Civilian voters will be mailed by January 11, 2019. Read the ballot measures related to the fire district merger and school levies.

Our membership meets once a month, typically early in the last week of the month. You can review meeting minutes here. In between, members are volunteering and working independently or in committees to accomplish our goals.

OUR DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES DID VERY WELL!

All of our endorsed candidates won during this November mid-term election!

Jefferson County voter turnout was 83.30% – contender for the highest turnout in Washington State!

Vote percentages as of midnight Nov. 6, 2018 are:

U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (58.6% state-wide; 69.16% Jefferson County)
Congressional Rep. Derek Kilmer (62.82% state-wide; 72.95% Jefferson County)

JEFFERSON COUNTY WA – BALLOT DROP BOX LOCATIONS

Election Day is Tues., Nov. 6, 2018

Ballot drop boxes are the most secure method to ensure ballots are received on time. Drop boxes are white with red and blue lettering. They are emptied regularly by two elections staff members. (Click on “More: for details.) (more…)
