Jefferson County has a number of junior taxing districts, each overseen by elected citizens answerable to the public. We salute these public servants!
School Districts: Washington has about 300 local School Districts, each with five directors. The eight districts serving students in our region receive services from the state through Olympic Educational Service District No. 114.

Quilcene School District No. 48 Quilcene serves some students from Brinnon.
Brinnon School District No. 46 Serves K-8 students.

Quillayute Valley School District No. 402 serves the West End near Forks.
The Queets Clearwater School District (no website) serves K-8 students between Quillayute and Lake Quinault.
